SUMMARY: To ensure that socks are neatly boarded and are 1st quality before they go to the packing stage. Work in a team environment to ensure customer’s orders are completed accurately and are packaged according to the customer specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lifts socks from canvas trucks to boarding tray. - Places socks on boarding forms. - Straightens heels, toes and leg of socks. - Places completed socks on board. - Passes socks to pairer. - Helps put stickers on folders/check folders, bands, tickets and stickers. - Gets supplies for order (chipboards, hooks, bags) - Push empty buggy away from machine/pull up next buggy of socks. - Keeps up with buggy tickets. - Changes boarding forms for size changes - Inspects socks. - Sweeps machine off daily. - Folds socks or slides socks on needle to tack. - Trims excess strings and checks for defects. - Ensures that all stickers are on folders, chipboards and cases. - Reads boxing tickets, checks bands, sti...
