Overview Element has an opportunity for a Metallurgist whose primary responsibility isto safely perform tests and report testing evaluations. Work is to be performed in accordance with established QA procedures. Salary: $70K-$85K/yr: Responsibilities: - Prepare and operate all equipment necessary to perform testing in the Metallurgical Lab - Performs daily verifications and adjusts equipment baselines accordingly - Performs standard and non standard metallurgical evaluations - Maintains testing equipment for operation and performs routine housekeeping tasks associated with the area(s) trouble shooting as necessary. - Insures that ample supplies are available for operation of testing area - As needed, interface with clients on matters of concern/interest - Other duties as required Skills / Qualifications: NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
