Job Title: C.N.A Trainee - Paid Trainee Department: Long Term Care: Location: DeMay Living Center or Clifton Springs Nursing Home Hours Per Week: 40 hrs / week during training Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm during training SUMMARY: This role is a transitional, entry-level position designed to train the trainee on the necessary skills required to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A). Candidates hired into this position are required to take and pass the C.N.A Training Class and state mandated test in order to earn their C.N.A Certification. Once classes have been successfully completed, employee may begin working as a nursing aide until certification is obtained. OUR TRAINING PROGRAM: · Skillfully and safely, perform all activities required to successfully pass the C.N.A certification in order to transition into the C.N.A role. · Must remain in good standing with training program. Failure to remain in good standing for any reason may result in termination at the discretion of the training program leaders. · Read and follow resident’s care card.
