Job description

We are seeking an Sr. Advanced Physicist in our Broomfield, CO location. All applicants for placement in safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test. Key Responsibilities: - Build, validate, and deploy ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems supporting both R&D and commercial quantum computing platforms - Perform hands-on cleanroom assembly, integration, and validation of complex vacuum and cryogenic systems - Own day-to-day operation and efficiency of the cleanroom production line, ensuring quality, safety, and throughput targets are met - Identify and resolve manufacturing and quality issues using root cause corrective action (RCCA), data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies - Work closely with design teams to drive manufacturability, scalability, reliability into system design for both current and future generation systems - Develop, maintain, and improve work instructions, production documentation, inspection plans, and operator training materials - Design and optimize manufacturing processes, production floor layouts and work cells to improve reliability, efficiency and scalability - Typical time allocation: ~60% hands-on productio...
