Functional Skills Tutor (English & Maths) Location: West Midlands (Remote Delivery with travel required) Contract: Full-time or Part-time / Permanent Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (pro rata if Part Time) We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Functional Skills Tutor (English and/or Maths) to join our growing team. This is a predominantly remote delivery role , with travel required across the West Midlands for learner invigilation, staff training, meetings, and events. You will play a key role in supporting learners to develop essential English and Maths skills, helping them gain qualifications and progress into further education, employment, or apprenticeships. Key responsibilities: Deliver engaging Functional Skills sessions in English and/or Maths via remote learning platforms. Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, learner-centred lessons. Support learners to overcome barriers and build confidence in their studies. Carry out initial assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate learner records.
