Job Summary: The Archaeologist will primarily support the Section 106 component of environmental reviews associated with HUD Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Community Development Block Grant Disaster Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funding. The position collaborates with team members across multiple projects and supports timely, compliant delivery of client goals. Job Duties: - Works in a team environment to implement strategies, processes, and solutions in support of client program objectives - Manages project workflows and deliverables to meet client goals, timelines, and quality expectations - Supports and/or performs NEPA environmental reviews, with emphasis on Section 106 compliance as it pertains to archaeology for HUD CDBG-DR/CDBG-MIT projects - Reviews and revises Section 106 documentation and supporting materials related to archaeological resources as required - Conducts research and prepares SHPO consultation documents; coordinates with the Puerto Rico SHPO for Section 106 compliance - Assists in responding to SHPO requests for additional information for submitted cases - Performs onsite supervision and quality control for architectural recordation...
