Position Function: The Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine has an immediate opening for a non-tenure track faculty position in Small Animal Internal Medicine. This position is also cross posted as a tenure track position on PARF 509033. Salary Grade : UC: Please see Staff Compensation Structure or Skilled Crafts and Service Maintenance Compensation Schedule for salary ranges. For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department. Area of Specialization: Small Animal Internal Medicine Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities involve teaching and clinical training of professional students, interns, residents and graduate students. Service responsibilities involve clinical case management, rotating emergency duty, and consultation with private practitioners. Clinical duties in the Small Animal Internal Medicine service will be shared with four other faculty members. The service currently has three residents enrolled in an ACVIM-approved three-year combined residency and thesis-driven master's program.
