Job description

We’re looking for a hands-on Sheet Metal Shop Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. If you enjoy troubleshooting, improving processes, and being the go-to technical resource on the shop floor, this role is for you. What You’ll Do: Be a safety champion , ensuring all assigned work areas operate with a proactive, safety-first mindset in full compliance with OSHA and company guidelines. Set up, operate, and maintain a wide range of fabrication equipment, including press brakes, shears, welders, rollers, plasma tables , and other shop machinery. Perform routine inspections to identify wear, defects, and maintenance needs— fixing issues before they become downtime . Communicate equipment concerns clearly and promptly so corrective action can be taken. Continuously evaluate shop processes and recommend improvements that enhance productivity, equipment performance, quality, and workforce utilization . Serve as a technical problem-solver , helping diagnose equipment issues and supporting shop employees with hands-on solutions.
