Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Position : Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Level I - Shifts vary - Location : Evanston Hospital - Evanston, IL - Per Diem Level I - Must be able to work 48 hours every 6 weeks. 24 of those hours must be on weekend time. - Hours : Shifts will vary Monday - Friday between 7am - 7pm and Saturday - Sunday: 7pm-7am What you will do: - Under minimal supervision, provides routine and complex respiratory therapy treatment to patients and performs a variety of routine pulmonary function tests according to established procedures in order to provide data used in diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease/ailments. - In doing so, interprets physicians' order, obtains pertinent patient information, arranges and sets up necessary supplies and equipment, and monitors equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient charts. - Assists in monitoring department procedures, recommends enhancements, and assists in developing procedures as requested.
