Drainage Engineer Reference number: 11117: Closing date: 11:00pm, Monday 20 April 2026 - Full-time permanent position. - Salary commencing at $85,114.740 per annum, plus 12% superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience. - Band 5. - Graduate Engineers will be employed at Band 5 and after two years may be entitled to movement to Band 6 provided, they have undertaken training and completed tasks that meet the accountability and skill level required by Band 6 as set out in the enterprise agreement. The Opportunity: Moonee Valley City Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Drainage Engineer to join our Engineering and Capital Works Delivery team. In this role, you will support the delivery and maintenance of Council’s stormwater drainage assets through the management of customer enquiries, undertaking site investigations, and contributing to the development of drainage capital works programs. Working under the guidance of the Senior Drainage Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative and practical stormwater drainage solutions that align with Council policies, standards, and community expectations.
