The successful candidate will act as an assistant to the Curator in the FGS Geological Sample Collections Facility (repository). Duties include the physical preparation of geologic samples for archival storage, updating the FGS GEODES database and Microsoft Excel tracking files, assisting with the maintenance of the facility and the preservation of samples stored in the facility, and participation in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes for physical samples and electronic records.
