Description Position Title: Logistics Specialist: Reports to: Operations Manager: Location: Baltimore, MD: Employment Status: Full-Time: Work Schedule: Full-Time, M-F, core work hours are from 9:30am to 2:30pm FLSA Status: Exempt: Position Summary: Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Logistics Specialist (SLU) to support the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Ice Breaker, Buoy, and Construction Tender Product Line (IBCTPL) in Baltimore, MD. This position is contingent upon contract award. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: - Creating SLU type projects in the SFLC Knowledge Library or equivalent. - Updating and tracking milestones, ensuring that all applicable logistics artifacts have been completed. - Originate and process for approval CG-22 forms. - Draft, process, and complete Simple Logistics Updates as assigned, in accordance with current SFLC Process and Desk Guide. - Conduct market research into CG-22 validity, obsolete part su...
