Bank Multi Disciplinary Advocate Hackney Advocacy Service Location: Hackney and Greater London (for Hackney funded clients) Pay band: Level 2 – Senior Support DBS: Enhanced with Adult & Children’s Barred Lists About the role: Do you believe everyone should have a voice in decisions that affect their life? We’re looking for experienced and values driven Bank Multi Disciplinary Advocates to join our Hackney Advocacy Service, providing high quality statutory and non statutory advocacy to adults across a range of settings. As a bank advocate, you’ll work flexibly across the community and care environments – including hospitals, secure units, supported living, care homes and people’s own homes – supporting individuals to understand their rights, express their views, and influence decisions about their care, treatment and living arrangements. No two days are the same. You’ll manage your own caseload, organise your diary independently, and deliver advocacy that is person led, empowering and grounded in legal frameworks such as the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
