About the Job Assistant/Associate Professor of Surgery – Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Position Overview: The Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota Medical School and University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians) seek a full-time academic plastic surgeon. This position will include clinical practice in the Twin Cities metropolitan area as well as academic responsibilities in teaching, research, and service. Academic rank at the University of Minnesota will be at the commensurate with qualifications and experience. Practice Details: - General Plastic Surgery opportunity with emphasis on Breast, Wound Care, and General Reconstruction. - Primary practice locations include M Health Fairview Clinics and Specialty Center – Maplewood, M Health Fairview St. John’s Hospital, and the Ambulatory Surgery Center in Maplewood, MN. - Additional surgical activity at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital and the University of Minnesota Medical Center. - Successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient clinical care and participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
