Position Summary In keeping with the Abrazo Health Care core values, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist would develop, implement, and evaluate the clinical pharmacy services for the facility, as well as the training and education of the professional staff or participation in these services. An integral part of the patient care team, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is responsible for providing many delegated clinical services, participating in team discussions and decisions about patient care, educating patients and families, and assuring proper application and compliance with various clinical initiatives. Involvement in various professional education activities, including work with students from the local College of Pharmacy and staff pharmacist development and mentoring is also expected.
