Medical Scribe - Cardiology Department: Clinic Operations: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: 506 W. Valley Blvd. Unit #100, San Gabriel, CA 91776 Reporting To: Leatrice Ching: Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 / hour Description: Assist clinicians by documenting patient encounters, updating diagnosis codes, sending out and verifying prescriptions, following up on complex patient cases to update providers as needed. Will also be expected to perform other tasks such as intake, EKGs, hooking up heart monitors when not scribing for provider. Medical scribe may also be trained in administrative responsibilities such as insurance verification, medical records preparation, appointment scheduling.
