About the role As a Hardware Functional Safety Engineer at Coretura, you are responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and wellstructured hardware development across the full lifecycle. You enforce safety and development processes while actively driving the transformation of traditional hardware practices towards modern, codecentric workflows. You work at the intersection of hardware engineering, quality, and process leadership. In close collaboration with internal teams and Tier 1 suppliers, you modernize how safety and development artifacts are created, managed, and delivered. This includes enabling Gitbased traceability, improving collaboration, and supporting Coreturas Everything as Code philosophy. The role combines functional safety, process ownership, and continuous improvement, with direct influence on how hardware is developed, validated, and integrated.
