Day (United States of America) Patient Access Specialist II - Oncology Billing The Patient Access Specialist II Oncology Billing is responsible for performing duties associated with Oncology, Outpatient Infusion Center, Patient Access, and Oncology Billing. Candidates must be proficient with insurance, authorizations, billing processes and CPT/ICD10. This position requires interaction with insurance carriers, physicians, nurses, PCP offices and patients in a busy Oncology office setting. The Patient Access Specialist II must be able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. They are responsible for obtaining appropriate authorizations for procedures ordered by the Oncology providers, timely follow-up and documenting the information in the Oncology EHR systems.
