As PG&E offers Load Management programs which aim at balancing load and energy supply, CP M&E conducts rigorous evaluations to estimate the impacts of the Load Management programs on the electric grid and customer experience. We analyze the programs’ operation efficiency and offer insights to improve program performance. Findings of our program evaluations also inform long-term resource planning, utility operations, and energy policies. Position Summary: The Expert Quantitative Analyst will manage evaluations of a range of load management programs, including demand response, time-varying rates, and clean energy transportation, to improve program performance and help shape California energy policies.
