Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: *DECH is an equal opportunity employer. - Operation of diagnostic x-ray, portable units, CT scan and c-arm equipment to provide quality images for interpretation. - Operation of PACS to send images to desired locations. - Utilize teleradiology to send studies for preliminary interpretation - Prepare and administer contrast agents to patients - Instructs and prepares patients for examination in accordance with specific needs of: pediatric patients, adolescent patients, adult patients and geriatric patients. - Provides assistance patient may require. - Transports inpatient and emergency room patients to Imaging and returns. - After exam completion is responsible for coordinating patient records with current clinical data and prepares exam for interpretation. - Responsible for care, unskilled maintenance, neatness and basic hygienic cleaning of Imaging rooms and equipment on a daily basis. - Any equipment malfunctions will be reported to the Imaging Manager. - Reports any acute or untoward symptoms to the Radiologist or attending physician. - Provides coverage in General Radiology, CT scan, C-arm as needed. - Needed supplies are reported to Imaging...
