Ophthalmic Technician Ross Hall Clinic 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £24,947.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Ross Hall Clinic Braehead in Glasgow is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Ophthalmic Technician to join their team of staff in the Ophthalmology department. No ophthalmology experience is required for this post and full training will be provided. This is a -time role for hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: - Carry out a range of ophthalmic tests such as visual acuity, OCT scans, biometry, tonometry and visual fields testing. - Support ophthalmologists and nurses during clinics and minor procedures. - Prepare patients for examination, explaining procedures clearly and providing reassurance.
