Job description

Location: IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital 2401 W University Ave Schedule: PRN - may work up to 23 hours/wk Day shift - between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Evening shift - 4:00–8:30 PM: **Every other weekend and holiday ** A physical working job that requires you to be on your feet throughout the working hours. Must push food carts and deliver food trays to patients, walking, squatting, lifting, pulling, continuous standing cleaning, stocking food/drink, and working in dish room. Key Responsibilities: Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment. Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
