Job description

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist to join our team in Boulder, CO. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm Job Responsibilities: - Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing acco rding to established criteria - Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures - Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality - Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving - Pr epar e, test and evaluate new reagents or controls - Report accurate and time ly te st res ults in order to del iv er qu al ity patient care - Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures - Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary - Assist with processi ng of specimens wh en neede d - Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate per sonal protective equipment Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology - 1 year or more of clinical laboratory testing experience in Hematology Preferred Qualifications: - ASCP or AMT cert...
