Description The Sculpture area at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University seeks a Part-Time Lecturer to teach studio courses during the 2026-2027 academic year. Appointments may include up to four courses across the academic year, depending on program needs. Courses that may be taught by the Part-Time Lecturer include introductory, itermediate, or advanced studio classes such as Drawing for Sculpture, Advanced Sculpture Projects, Intermediate Digital Fabrication, Object a Week, Advanced Installation Projects, or Intro to Metal Fabrication. Teaching assignments will depend on program needs and the selected candidate(s)' expertise. The Sculpture area supports a broad range of practices, including object-making, fabrication-based processes, installation, and interdisciplinary media. Courses combine demonstration, lectures, critiques, readings, and studio work while encouraging experimentation with materials, structural systems, and spacial thinking.
