Position Highlights: - Position: Histology Technician - Location: Evanston Hospital - Full Time/Part Time: Full Time - Hours: Monday-Friday, 11am-7:30pm, e/o weekend and rotating holidays What you will do: - Processing tissues using Xpress microwave rapid tissue processor - Embedding: Manual and Automated using Sakura Auto TEK embedder - Microtomy of paraffin embedded tissue blocks both manual and auto embedded - Recuts of tissue blocks - Special Stains - IF cryotomy of skin specimens Benefits: Endeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, vibrant, community-connected care, serving an area of more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
