Description Isaiah House is looking for a dedicated and driven person to take on the role of Certified Medical Assistant at our center in Harrodsburg, KY. Isaiah House is a faith-based, nonprofit with a competitive edge, delivering one of the most effective substance use disorder treatment facilities in the state of KY. This role will work in the following shift: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 3:30pm. There will be room for flexible start and end times as needed. JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Basic life insurance - 401(k) Option - Paid holidays - PTO after 90 Days - Complete all necessary competencies. - Perform/document vital signs, withdrawal scores, CLIA- waived testing such as blood glucose measurement and document/communicate progress of clients to LIP or medical treatment area personnel. - Ensure that Medical Rooms are clean - File medical papers on current and discharged clients - Fill hygiene requests weekly for all clients - Fill vitamin boxes weekly for all clients - Gather necessary info/papers/IDs/insurance cards prior to clie...
