Business Unit: Cubic Transportation Systems SUMMARY: Serves as the financial business partner to the regional general manager. Provides continual performance assessments, proactive analysis, and mitigation strategies to facilitate timely corrective actions and preserve company financial goals. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction and requires a self-starter who likes to solve complex problems. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assists General Managers on strategic decisions to improve financial performance for assigned region. - Prepare, review, analyze and assist distributing internal financial information for program and business reviews. - Develops KPIs to help identify areas of under-performance - Ensures regional monthly financial figures are correct for Bookings, Revenue and Gross margin prior to corporate submittal. - Leads and facilitates financial meetings and discussions. - Supports financial process improvement teams. - Works with internal and external auditors for region specific programs/tasks - Ensures monthly internal processes ar...
