Process Technician II

Job description

Position Summary The Molding Technician is responsible for basic and advanced equipment and process set-up, changeovers, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance and basic repair and rebuild. Equipment includes Injection Molding Machines and associated ancillary equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform all functions of a Technician Level I. - Repair or replace valves, replace granulator cutting knives, replace belts. - Process servo error corrections and load cell calibrations of electric machines. - Repair hydraulic valves and oil leaks; troubleshoot electrical machines. - Perform parts picker troubleshooting and repair; balancing mold hot runner systems. - Train Level I technicians; assist Engineering with trials inspection. - Initiate corrective actions for non-conformances. - Perform mid-level adjustments and repairs on machines. - Enter work orders and requests. - Follow 5S standards and support further standards development. - Cross trained in at least one other functional area. - Model company values and support strategic initiatives. - Perform other related duties as assigned or required. - This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations...
