Job Title : Prep Cook Department : Food & Beverage Reports To : Executive Chef / Sous Chef Hourly Rate : $25.75 per hour Location : Long Beach, CA: Job Type : Part-Time Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Prep Cook at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center . This position is responsible for preparing food items in the kitchen and/or concessions, following food safety standards, and supporting the food service operations for the facility. Please note that Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center Food and Beverage employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11 , and union membership is a condition of employment. Qualifications: - Set up stations and gather all necessary supplies to prepare the menu for service. - Properly label and date food items for storage. - Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products to ensure smooth service during events. - Consistently follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. - Use food preparation tools in accordance with manufacturer's instr...
