Job Description The Special Enforcement Team (SET) is a multidisciplinary unit composed of legal, technical, and support staff whose primary responsibility is to maintain the integrity of design professionals who file construction documents with the Department of Buildings. SET identifies and investigates design professionals, licensees and those registered with the Department for certain tasks and responsibilities. SET initiates administrative enforcement action(s) against those who fail to achieve compliance with the Zoning Resolution, Building Code, Multiple Dwelling Law, or any other Code or Rule; or who file false statements or documents with the Department. The SET Enforcement Audit Specialist, under the direction of the Chief and Director of SET, but with latitude for independent action, will be responsible for: - Completing complex investigations and audits of selected Professional Certification and Directive 14 job applications to determine compliance with the NYC Administrative Code, Building Code, Zoning Resolution, New York State Multiple Dwelling Law, Departmental Rules and Procedures, or any other Code or Rule. - Completing complex investigations and audits of job app...
