Summary The primary responsibility of this position is to integrate chiller and motor control hardware into the chiller system. In this capacity, the engineer will be primarily responsible to develop solutions that best meet the chiller product requirements by working with product management to define needs and supply chain to identify best suppliers. The preferred candidate will have a strong understanding of chiller and motor control systems and related component layout and packaging. Serving as a critical technical link between engineering design, factory production, and field performance, this is an onsite position based at the Carrier-Charlotte facility located at 9701 Old Statesville Road, Charlotte, NC 28269. Responsibilities: - Electrical engineering for control and power panel integration into chiller products. Experience in design and/or integration of variable frequency power electronics is preferred. - Ability to size and select applicable electrical components and wiring to operate motors, valves, etc. - Ability to create, edit and read electrical power and control schematics. - Ability to create and modify I/O mapping of electronic controls. - Collaborate with product...
