Overview Post Title: Senior Occupational Therapist: Care of Older Persons Services Post Status: Permanent Department: Location: Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9 Reports to: Line Manager Title: Mr. Paul Bernard Salary: Appointment will be made on Senior Occupational Therapist scale (€64,551 -€76,007) at a point in line with Government pay policy. Hours of work: Full-time 35 Hours Closing Date: 28/04/2026 Position Summary: The post holder will deliver an integrated expert service to meet the occupational therapy needs of ≥65yr service users across our older person’s services. Our Senior COE OTs work in the following services: 1. In-patient Specialist Geriatric Ward 2. Raheny, Community Nursing Unit and Gerontology outreach service3. ≥65yr St Joseph’s Rehabilitation service4. Pathfinder Emergency Care Service with the National Ambulance Service5. Emergency Dept. Frailty Intervention Therapy Service 6. St Joseph’s Day Hospital Rotations may last approximately 12-18 months and will be dependent on the timing of appointments within the services and the skill mix of available therapists.
