HOURS OF WORK: 8 Hour Daily/247 Calendar Days Yearly STATUS: Classified – Non-Exempt, Full Time POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing plumbing services identifying repair and replacement needs. This position is expected to install, repair, and upgrade plumbing systems. This position is part of the maintenance team and reports to the lead plumber. PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analyzes blueprints, drawings, and schematics of plumbing systems. - Coordinates with assigned lead/supervisor and other trades to complete projects efficiently. - Documenting activities and conveying information thorough written reports. - Estimates equipment and/or materials needed to complete work projects. - Fabricates equipment parts meeting specialty needs and replacing unavailable parts. - Informs the team regarding procedures, status of work orders, and provides necessary information for making decisions complying with standards and regulations. - Installs a variety of equipment, fixtures, and valves in a safe and workable environment. - Maintains equipment, facilities, tools, and vehicle ensuring safe operating condition. - Maintains inventory and ensures availability of it...
