Title: GA Pre-Professional - Athletics - Events & Game Operations- SUMMER 2026-SPRING 2027 Division Name: Presidential Department: Arena/Fld Hse Facilities Campus Location: Normal, IL Job Summary: Illinois State University, a NCAA Division I institution, member of the Missouri Valley Conference invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Game Operations within the department of Athletics. This pre-professional, 12-month position includes a tuition waiver and a stipend. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for Illinois State's Graduate School. Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Communicate with coaches and internal department to plan and execute game day operations 2. Coordinate with visiting teams and game officials pre-event and greet upon arrival to site 3. Ensure facilities are properly set-up and prepared for each athletic contest 4. Assist in operations of Illinois High School Association Championships & Conference Championships 5. Sport specific game duties 6. Crowd control, trouble-shooting during events 7.
