Description Job description: The Financial Aid Advisor works with prospective and current students and their family to assist them in the application process for financial aid programs. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to performing a variety of duties associated with the awarding, disbursing, and returning of federal, state, and other financial aid assistance programs. The Financial Aid Advisor reports to the Director of Financial Aid and has accountability to the Campus President/Director. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist students and parents to apply for Federal Student Aid and private funding for their program. - Provide information to students and parents regarding financial aid program requirements and application procedures. Provides information on the rights and responsibilities. - Review financial aid application information, forms and documentation for completeness and accuracy. - Review resulting ISIR and ensure accuracy of award data in Campus Nexus and Campus Ivy Core systems. - Complete verification process, where necessary, of information reported on student ISIR to determinate eligibility. - Maintain accurate reporting as needed. - Pro...
