Job description

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for testing, building and service of mechanical clutches for Formsprag Clutch. Responsibilities will include Product Assembly, Internal Project control, Conducting Inspection Tests, Service Calls, Product Assembly, Shop floor assistance, Product Testing, MRR processing and Work on Product Changes (PI, ECR). The main emphasis is on testing products (both for R&D and Factory release) and providing service on customer sites. The Test and Service Engineer is also required to work closely with the rest of the engineering team, rebuild team and manufacturing engineering. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Design and Execute testing of products resources to support development efforts and supplemental production QA - Design testing fixtures for testing - Coordinate with the required resources and flow of internal rebuild department - Travel to customer sites to support service efforts - Communicate customer needs back to design team after site visits - Interface with customers to understand site issues and coordinate communications and service to help resolve issues - Assist with development of various overrunning clutch products - Plan for data...
