The Department of Pharmacy at Mount Auburn Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist in Internal Medicine to join our team. This pharmacist will work in a mainly decentralized role, including rounding with an Internal Medicine team and providing clinical coverage for medical and surgical patients, with teaching opportunities within our Pharmacy Residency Program. This position will operate on a predominantly Monday-Friday day shift schedule, with rotating weekends/holidays, and evening/overnight coverage as needed. Pharmacists work closely with other health care practitioners to meet the various needs of our patients. Pharmacists review and approve medication orders, monitor drug therapies, and provide drug information. They improve the health of patients by providing pharmaceutical care to individual patients and by serving as a resource to physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
