Job Summary The Biological Sciences Department in the Bailey College of Science and Mathematics at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is seeking to hire full-time lecturers for two-year contracts, with appointments beginning August 17, 2026 and ending approximately May 19, 2028. Teaching assignments may include both introductory and upper-division classes. We have particular teaching needs in the molecular/cellular biology area and in the area of anatomy and physiology. Other classes may also be part of the teaching assignment as appropriate. Qualified candidates from related disciplines of biological sciences are invited to apply. Appointment at Lecturer Range B is expected and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. The anticipated hiring range for this role is $78,432 - $89,772 annually. Required Qualifications: - A Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a closely related discipline. - Ph.D. must be conferred and official transcripts received before August 17, 2026.
