To undertake environmental monitoring of various landfill sites, data interpretation and reporting in accordance with the site permit as well as gas field balancing, maintenance and gas compound management. Your core responsibilities. - Monday to Friday working pattern, with on call rota of 1 day in 10 - £30 on call allowance, plus time and a half overtime if called out - Covering the East Anglia region (Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire areas). - 42 hours per week as standard, with regular overtime available - Autonomy to manage your own diary and workload with home working - Company 4x4 pick up provided, with personal use available - Undertake environmental monitoring, data interpretation and reporting in accordance with the site permit and Biffa instructions - Undertake gas field monitoring, balancing and maintenance - Manage the landfill gas compound to ensure that power generation is maximised - Undertake all duties in accordance with Health and Safety policies, guidance notes and training - Work closely with and collaborate with landfill operational colleagues - Supervise and manage c...
