Specialist, Distribution Requirements Planning POSITION PROFILE: The Distribution Requirements Planner is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory allocation, prioritizing customer orders, minimizing transfer costs, and decreasing the order book to delivery cycle time. This role is critical in maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer demands. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand to allocate stock effectively across distribution centers. Execute daily inventory transfers from hub locations. - Monitor and adjust inventory allocation based on sales trends and seasonal fluctuations. - Monitor exception reports to limit inventory exposure of obsolete inventory - Maintain an order prioritization system to ensure high-priority orders are fulfilled first. - Collaborate with sales and national operation teams to understand customer needs and urgency. Have orders dated correctly in the ERP system. - Manage orders within assigned sales class from booking to release to the configuration centers, with focus on shortage resolution.
