Building a sustainable tomorrow: We are recruiting a Design Manager to join our team of secondees embedded within Rolls-Royce SMR, supporting RR-SMR with the integration of the BAM Site Factory into their overall plant design. Your team: - Primary base: RR-SMR offices are based in Derby, Manchester, and Bristol. - The BAM team meetings are most often in London. Typically approx. 5 days a month are expected in-person in the offices, but otherwise the role is predominantly remote. - The role is currently expected to run through to the end of 2026, with the possibility of an extension. Making Possible: - Delivery of sub-system DR process; design & programme management of RIBA 2/3/4 design development and associated governance process. - Level 3 & 4 plan creation & management - Responsible for managing and leading workstream/task-specific requirement development & feasibility review. - Key liaison point of contact / lead for workstream, governance stream or IPT. - Responsible for supporting the development of documentation and formal requirements to be incorporated directly into RR SMR systems. - Scoping and management of external packages of works - Management of interfaces and sub-sy...
