JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring that guests are cordially attended to, from the time they enter our dining rooms and facilities to the time they leave and performing routine duties necessary to provide a clean and well-stocked dining room during meal periods in accordance with Parkhurst standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Acknowledge the presence of our guests IMMEDIATELY with a friendly greeting. - Learn menu and daily specials, keeping in close communication with management. - Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and CaterTrax orders. - Accurately make change for all cash-paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal. - Post all necessary signage and merchandise service areas. Price and stock all grab and go items. - Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness. - Restock/organize areas surrounding the check-out counters.
