Department: 11903 Aurora St. Lukes South Shore - Food and Nutrition Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: General start time will be 8am. This is a salaried position, so end time may vary based on needs of the department. Weekends may be necessary if coverage for schedule or call in needs arise. This position will generally be responsible for oversight of the Patient Room Service Team as well indirectly over all TM especially in the event of the Manager out of the hospital. Proficient computer skills required including excel and POS (point of sale cafeteria systems) Pay Range: $26.55 - $39.85 Major Responsibilities: - Manages all daily operations of the department and the food program(s). Coordinates food preparation for patient tray assembly and delivery, and manages the distribution of food and supplies to ancillary areas. - Directs and coordinates the development of menus to ensure quality therapeutic appropriateness and adequate cost to value ratios.
