Senior Accountant - Job Number: 260660 - Full-time - Mon-Fri 1st Shift Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Senior Accountant in Green Bay WI to participate in close processes, including preparing internal reporting and performing in-depth variance analysis. The Senior Accountant will put together period-end journal entries, perform analytical review procedures during monthly close and prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts. Responsibilities: - Be responsible for accounting areas such as goodwill, equity, share-based compensation, leases, certain subledger activity, intercompany transactions and balances and foreign currency. - Review and post journal entries during period-end close processes. - Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations. - Assess the effectiveness of control procedures. - Prepare external financial reporting. - Implement new accounting standards. - Develop, document and implement procedures that will produce timely and accurate financial information. - Document processes and procedures.
