Job Description Summary MUSC Health Chester Medical Center is looking for a friendly, well organized, multitasked applicant to help in the switchboard areas as need. Entity: Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) Worker Type: Employee Worker Sub-Type​: PRN: Cost Center: CC000124 CHE - Communications (CMC) Pay Rate Type: Hourly Pay Grade: Health-20 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 12 Work Shift: Rotating (United States of America) Job Description: Duties include but not limited to: Operating communication systems, such as telephone, switchboard, intercom, two-way radio, or public address Answering incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls and/or taking messages as necessary Updating the company’s internal telephone directory Keeping a log of emergency calls and handling emergency response. Monitor all alarms. Sort Mail and Deliver Daily: Prepare daily On-call Sheet. Prepare courier bag for daily pick-up to MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center.
