Job Summary Job Title: Neurosurgeon Work Site: Vancouver General Hospital Status: Full-Time Start Date: January 1, 2027 Compensation Type: Clinical Service Contract Come work as a Neurosurgeon with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)! The University of British Columbia and Vancouver Coastal Health invite applications for an academic neurosurgeon to join the Division of Neurosurgery at Vancouver General Hospital, with a Clinical Faculty appointment in the UBC Department of Surgery. The individual we seek will have advanced training and skills in cerebrovascular neurosurgery and endovascular neurosurgery/interventional neuroradiology. This will include the management and surgical care of patients with cerebrovascular disorders including intracranial aneurysms and subarachnoid hemorrhage, vascular malformations and stroke. The successful candidate will join the existing multidisciplinary cerebrovascular neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology team and compliment the program. Candidates must hold certification in Neurosurgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and be eligible for licensure by the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.
