2026 Newsroom Internship Station Job Posting & Job Description KMIZ-TV is accepting resumes for a paid broadcast/digital news internship in the ABC 17 newsroom. We offer real-world, hands-on experience with the goal of preparing candidates for full-time employment in our Columbia newsroom. The ABC 17 News internship is open to currently enrolled college/university juniors, seniors, and graduate students; recent college/university graduates are also eligible. Preference will be given to students who plan to live and work in the Mid-Missouri area or one of the other nine News-Press and Gazette broadcast markets: http://npgco.com Eligibility requirements: Creative individuals with superior writing/communications skills are encouraged to apply. Duties may include assisting multimedia journalists, photographers, newscast producers, digital content producers and assignment editors.
