Department: 11926 Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center - Public Safety Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Hours are 5am-1pm, every other weekend and holidays as assigned. Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70 Major Responsibilities: - Conducts regular interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property. Inspects exit doors, offices, storerooms, and departments for security and the absence of fire or other hazards. Monitors and reports suspicious activity on hospital property and surrounding area. - May be assigned to a stationary post location within the facility to offer a visible deterrent in a designated area for visitor control. - Assists patients and visitors by providing information and directions in the facility. - Performs routine lost and found pick-ups as needed. - Performs foot patrol of various parking lots ensuring adherence to parking policy. May assist in the coordination and monitoring of Contracted Security, specific to parking. - Facilitates the issuance of police citations and/or towing services as needed.
