The role of the Refrigeration HVAC Service Diesel Technician is responsible performs all functions of a fully qualified transport refrigeration mechanic under minimal supervision. - Performs skilled and complicated mechanical work on transport refrigeration equipment and related components with minimum supervision. - Performs trouble shooting on major problems. - Works with and helps train apprentice technicians. - Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools. - Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary. - Maintains favorable relations with customers. - Masters the techniques needed to use a laptop computer to test microprocessors. - Follows safe work practices and procedures, uses safety equipment w...
