About the Role: As a Loan Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for Veterans and Active Duty Service Members navigating the VA loan process. You’ll work closely with Loan Officers, educating borrowers on the process, gathering documentation, and guiding them toward homeownership. This role is also a launchpad into a future Loan Officer career for those who are ambitious, energetic, and motivated. Many of our successful Loan Officers began as Loan Specialists, and we’ll set you up with a strong foundation while providing a guaranteed salary and the chance to learn the business. What You’ll Do: Interview borrowers, obtain and verify documentation, and educate them on the loan process and product/service options. Process borrower credit information through online approval systems and analyze for pre-approval or denial. Make initial contact and respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
